Focused movement is an effective way for Parkinson's sufferers to increase flexibility and ward off the rigidity associated with Parkinson's Disease. It's also a great way to aid in the anxiety associated with PD.

Meet Brenda

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the fall of 2011, and for a long time, I struggled to find a program that truly supported the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that come with living with this condition. Everything changed when I discovered Rock Steady Boxing—a program that not only met me where I was, but challenged me to move, think, and live with power. I got certified and never looked back.

My mission is simple: leave no one behind. I believe that every person—regardless of diagnosis—has the potential to grow stronger, more balanced, and more connected, inside and out. I combine physical training with mindfulness, motivation, and community to help others tap into their full potential.

In every session, I’ll ask you to give your all—because I do too. I believe that People with Parkinson’s can continue to build strength, speed, flexibility, and resilience. Not someday—today.
